Despite the fact that situation in Ukraine seems to be gradually getting stable I sometimes come across rather alerting news from that country. See, former PM Timoshenko and her supporters just can’t settle their nerves after defeat in election. I mean, either they make stupid calls for ousting the democratically elect President, or for dividing the country into Western and Eastern Ukraine. Or they are creating Ukraine’s rescue committees instead of establishing sound and democratic opposition with its alternative program for developing the country. What are they going to save the country from? I just can’t get it...
But you know the most outrageous thing is that they glorify Nazi supporters in WWII! The entire world condemns it (and Brussels is no exception) but they just don’t care ( www.rferl.org/content/Western_Ukraine_Deputies_Dismiss_Criticism_Over_Controversial_WarEra_Nationali st_/1973880.html ) – they believe their Bandera is a hero. And they don’t give a damn about the fact that thousands of my fellow countrymen (I’m from Poland btw) were executed at his orders just because they were Jews!
Frankly speaking mates, I can’t grasp it how such people could ever have come to power at all. Another Nuremberg Trial should have been organized for them imo!
